So much to tell about!
Well first and foremost is what will be the biggest event of my life - I'm pregnant! I am so thrilled. My relationship with the father is complicated for a lot of reasons, but I am more than confident that all will work out just fine. The nurse at my appointment today believes that I am 5 weeks and 4 days along, but I am thinking I may be a little farther along than that. We will see. I have an appointment with my OBGYN on the 29th to have an ultrasound done, and set an official due date. If I'm doing the math correctly according to the nurse's time, I will be due August 7th. So wonderful.
I just landed a job at the Applebee's about a half an hour from my apartment, and also got let go from my office job. The whole situation is ironic to me - my last pregnancy I was working in the Lincoln Applebee's. It will be nice to have a much more flexible schedule and cash in hand each day. I am not regretting losing the office job at all, and if I want a second job, now that I am serving again, it will be much easier for me to serve elsewhere as well. I start training this evening.
I turn 21 in just 14 days. It will be much quieter of a birthday than I planned, but o well!! I will still be sure to have a blast.
Other than that, all is quiet on the home front. David's family likes to cause more drama than you would find in an entire high school but I won't let it bother me. Life is looking up and I am more than excited for the weeks to come!
